For many of us, the month of April was characterized by confinement and as already indicated last month: a form of ‘stagnation’! 

What have you learned from it? Being ‘with yourself’ or your close family? 

Some experienced the beautiful weather, the birds singing everywhere and millions of crickets chirping. The sky looks magnificent clear and blue and everything around seems so quit: no noise of aeroplanes, hardly noise of cars, it seems like Heaven on Earth. 

And maybe you even got a bit of your old creativity again, not being dependent on everything that we normally have ready available?! Discovered your talent of being your own hairdresser, or a chef for healthy and fresh meals? You have the power to boost your sports-program and make your fitness/yoga studio at home, or take a brisk walk outside, for those who have had this possibility.  And what about making music or singing loudly with all your neighbours on the balcony? One conclusion of this is the huge discovery that we can do much more, if we are only forced to it.

Maybe we even found out, that social contacts are more important than all other material things in this world that we were chasing for the last decades. Talking or mingling with other people. is keeping us young and fit, according to the people from the Island Okinawa in Japan. Though now, we all seem ready to move on, release some of the restrictions, start up our economies, and just take responsibility for our own life again. Well, here is what the Month of May will add to that!

From May 5 till June 4th – Xin Si, Metal Snake Month

With the Snake month, we enter the next three months of fire season. Fire is the element of moving upward, starting to see things more clearly, illumination hope, optimism, passion, victory, success, fame, good news, uniting people and innovation. Fire also balances the cold metal rat year of 2020. The good thing is, that with a little luck, our clear thinking and keeping our hygiene regulations, the virus and the infections could diminish. 

As for innovation, there is hope to find more technological solutions or extend our existing technologies in May. And find a new medical solution, ingenious computer applications, advanced home-work technologies, or necessary home-living techniques for people that live alone. Innovation happens when we are confronted with situations that show us our limitations. As Metal Snake is the image of a pink diamond, representing the highest value, it probably will be the best and most expensive solutions that we come up with. The Snake month is accompanied by the monthly virtue star giving us an extra boost to find these solutions.

In Metaphysics, we try to combine rooms with directions to get the best of all auspicious energies in a period: try to work as much or stay as much in the following rooms and take on the monthly direction IN that particular room to double up our energies!
